The gateway drug
Late 90’s early 2000 I was fascinated how it was possible to merge multiple pictures together creating something unreal sill realistic through layers, colour correction, how light and shadows connected things together, among other things. Through this experiments I fell into the rabbit hole of visual design that later became my profession.
IKEA Communications
It was a true pleasure to work for IKEA Communication in their biggest project every year, two years in a row. The Ikea catalog was printed in more than 200 million copies around the world. I worked there as a photo retoucher along with world class Photographers, 3D artists, Art directors & Project managers.
Smint
When I was working for the Icelandic Advertising Agency EnnEmm I got the project to create an ad for Smint. Witch was becoming in a bigger tablets than before. I was given full artistic freedom to create whatever I believed in.
This was the outcome, the client was happy with the result and it even got gold both at FÍT as well in Lúðurinn Icelandic Advertising Awards 2013.
Another Next
My friends at the Malmö based design agency Kolosal asked me to come into a project they were working for a Sketch book company called Another Next. My part was to photo retouch and manipulate the studio images.
Floating Island
